Second Chance 4 Teens
My 16 year old son has ruined his life!!! He is a convicted felony, a new dad,  currently serving time and must pay the state back thirty one thousand dollars.  I have crying fits daily because I can't stop thinking about how he has ruined his future before it really began. To add insult to injury I'm an educator in this small community and my 14 year old son is also having problems with the law. Please Help!!! I want to be able to save my children from self destruction.  The thought of  going back into the classroom with my life in turmoil frightens me.  I need to SAVE MY Boys.  They need a second chance so that they can become productive citizens. Unfortunately, they can't see that ten years from now these teenage mistakes will always haunt them.  We want to help other teens that need a 2nd chance to get it right. I looking for a boarding school for my 14 year  old. Maybe a military school with good counseling. Oaf course on a teachers salary how can I afford it? Please any tips would be extremly beneficial!! My time is running out. School starts mid Agust.

My heart goes out to you...as a parent...bc it's already hard enough for our young generation. Some people may not understand or even began to try, but I advise you to seek as much help as possible for yourself/your teen sons...soon. I'm not sure what type of military school you're seeking but I live in Columbus, IN...and there's a camp here, (free of charge) called Camp Atterbury. They take teens-boys&girls; and I'm sure...if you don't mind the distance...this could be somewhat of a start.
Hope this helps.
God bless!!!

Don't be afraid to open your mind to change and new possiblities, be fearless for your young sons. I have two young men also, 12 and 14 and I am always talking to them asking them what they think, because young men encounter so many problems about what they think their manhood should be. I am their mom and I can't think like a man, but I do see what goes on outside my home. I go to them sometimes and ask questions about problems other young people have.
